The Puerto Rico Innovation and Technology Service (PRITS), an Office of the Executive Branch of the Government of Puerto Rico, plays an important role in implementing, developing, and coordinating the Government's public policy on innovation, information, and technology. Under the authority granted by Act 151-2004, as amended, also known as the Electronic Government Act, PRITS has the authority to manage information systems and establish the essential rules, regulations, and procedures for the effective utilization of information technologies throughout the Government.
As the central agency driving technological advancements within the Government, PRITS seeks to enhance the delivery of public services, foster innovation, and maximize the efficient use of information technology resources. In line with the Project Management Institute's Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), PRITS is seeking comprehensive Program and Project Management services to facilitate the successful implementation of technology-driven initiatives. The selected Proponent(s), if any, will collaborate closely with PRITS' Project Management Office (PMO) to deploy multiple projects and programs aimed at advancing innovation and technology across various sectors within the Government.
By partnering with experienced vendors who demonstrate a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices, PRITS aims to leverage their expertise to effectively manage projects and programs aligned with the Government's needs.
